Meditation cushion crescent

Half moon cushions or crescent are ideal for people with hip or knee problems, because the cushion provides excellent support from the hips to the thighs. This type of cushion often has the same thickness all around and is slightly flatter than a round cushion. They are perfect to combine with a zabuton for extra cushioning of the ankles and feet. With a crescent meditation cushion, the knees tend to rise, changing the angle of the feet and ankles and pushing them more into the floor. The crescent cushion is also nice for people whose legs fall asleep during meditation.
